NAIROBI, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Kenyan retired star Innocent Simiyu was on Tuesday reappointed as the head coach of Kenya's rugby sevens side.
"I feel good that the running season is slowly coming back, as an athlete I was worried when the coronavirus pandemic stopped everything globally, I knew my ambitious season was done, I didn't see myself running this year. I'm glad normalization is slowly returning," she noted.
"I'm happy with the win, the record didn't come out as we had planned but I'm satisfied with my general performance, now I will concentrate on the next competition, the Ostrava meeting," Kipyegon told Xinhua on Saturday.
"It was a pity that we lost in stoppage time last game. We followed coach Van Bronckhorst's plan and all players focused on the game tonight, I'm glad to see that, and we deserved the win," said Saba.
